The paper discusses the multifaceted legal challenges that hinder health equity and access in various societies. Health equity refers to the absence of disparities in health outcomes between different groups of people, while access to healthcare encompasses the availability, affordability, and quality of healthcare services. Despite significant advancements in healthcare policy and technology, numerous legal barriers persist that perpetuate health disparities. This paper identifies and analyzes several key legal challenges, including inadequate health infrastructure, disparities in health insurance coverage, insufficient regulatory frameworks, and the lack of culturally competent healthcare services. It examines the impact of these barriers on vulnerable populations and proposes potential legal solutions to promote health equity and ensure equitable access to healthcare for all. Furthermore, the paper emphasizes the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration involving legal scholars, healthcare professionals, and policymakers to address these challenges effectively.
