Abstract

The paper explores the intricate legal challenges encountered in the implementation of global anti-corruption efforts. With an increasing emphasis on combating corruption on an international scale, numerous legal frameworks and conventions have been developed to address the issue. However, the practical application of these legal instruments faces a multitude of challenges. This study examines the complexities involved in enforcing international anti-corruption laws, including issues of jurisdiction, enforcement cooperation, and the challenge of legal harmonization across diverse legal systems. Furthermore, the paper delves into the difficulties in gathering evidence, securing convictions, and ensuring the effective deterrent impact of sanctions. The study concludes with a discussion on the potential solutions to these challenges, emphasizing the importance of international collaboration and the need for a more comprehensive legal approach to combating corruption on a global level.
